Even though it is a heavy workload, I really like these full 15 game MLB slates to work with. The early games and split slates just aren’t something I enjoy these days. Tonight we have just one true ace pitcher on the mound in Madison Bumgarner, who is not in a great spot (at NYY) but is still a very worthy option. I think that I will be paying down for pitching and getting aggressive with the bats this evening.

It’s important to note that we have several games with potential weather issues tonight. The entire East Coast seems like it will be riddled with pop up thunderstorms at some point this evening. The Giants and Yankees contest has a 40 percent chance of thunderstorms throughout the game. The battle of Pennsylvania between the Pirates and Phillies has a 50 percent chance of early thunderstorms that should move out of the area by game time. Then there is the Twins and Red Sox game which features plenty of hitters that I would love to use but may have to tap the brakes on, as there is a 30 percent chance of storms at Fenway tonight.
