This attribute also comes with some great benefits like additional conversation topics, the ability to use tech weapons effectively, and an increase in armor with each point. There is no doubt that this attribute has some great benefits in Cyberpunk 2077.
Updated on February 18th, 2022 by Hodey Johns:With Patch 1.5, players are giving the game a second chance to win them over. Aside from some of the lackluster romance options getting beefed up and some price alterations, many of these fixes focused on the combat situation. The perks, specifically, had some serious rebalancing work to do as overpowered skills wrecked the game while other skills were such a joke that choosing them would make no difference at all. There are still, of course, perks that are slightly better than others and this list has been updated with the best of these after the rework was put into place.
10 Can’t Touch This
One of the most annoying things to deal with is getting caught in your own grenade. Throw it too short and the player will be caught in the blast and deal some serious damage to themselves.
This is terrible when considering all the harmful effects, like fire and shock, these grenades have. The Can’t Touch This perk eliminates the possibility of the player getting caught in the blast of their grenades so they can go running in without worry.
9 Scrapper
The latest update may have fixed the bare bones romantic relationships in the game, but inventory management is still going to be a pain. The possibility exists after every fight to disassemble junk before it piles up. With a game as long as Cyberpunk 2077, this translated to hours of opening a menu and clicking repetitive buttons.
Scrapper automatically turns trash into usable parts. This frees players up to loot everything and everyone without getting weighed down. And then, when it’s time to construct an amazing weapon, the parts will be there waiting.
8 Blast Shielding
Grenades are a real pain and some enemies throw them out like candy during Halloween. Too many times have players been caught in an area where multiple grenades are going off and they have nowhere to hide.
The Blast Shielding perk tries to lessen the worry of that scenario by decreasing the damage from enemy grenades by 10%. This perk can also be bought multiple times which can increase that damage reduction by up to thirty percent.
7 Cutting Edge
Cutting Edge might sound like a small perk. it increases damage of crafted weapons by 5%. But consider that if players are going to be crafting ideal weaponry, doesn’t it make sense to craft the best weapon possible? Making the perfect gun without this perk doesn’t feel right.

If players are going to buy the newest apartments, they’ll need to survive fights against tough bosses and cyberpsychos for the loot. An extra 5% damage shaves of precious time from each of these battles and can be the difference between killing an enemy in one shot or two.
6 200% Efficiency
Players in it for the long haul will want to explore the world and maybe find love with Rogue, but they’ll need to think about survival in order to live for that long. With two points, clothing and armor crafted by V becomes 10% stronger.
It’s slight, but it’s pretty awesome to be able to make gear better than any pieces that can be found in the world. Those who are wanting to craft will need this to flex their superior gear over all the rest. The extra damage absorption for each piece reduces enemy weaponry to pea-shooters.
5 Edgerunner Artisan
Legendary gear is the best available. It’s what every player hopes to find and equip onto their character. Why go looking for it when it can be crafted? The Edgerunner Artisan perk allows players to craft legendary gear instead of hunting it down like the normal person.
If Technical Ability is a player’s game, this perk is a must in the tree. Of course, players will also want to grab the perks leading up to this one since it takes a while to access. Keep it in mind whenever the level is reached though.
4 Mechanic
Players will be able to adjust V’s appearance in many ways but body modifications should be factored into the aesthetic. To craft the best cyberware, it’s helpful to have as many parts on hand as possible. Gaining 15% more components adds up in the long run.
If players feel like they have all that they need in this department, it’s still a smart bet. Selling these components is better than selling the junk and an extra 15% directly translates to more wealth for gamers who are looking to make some big purchases.
3 Shrapnel
Grenades are fun to use. They are easily found and can deal a ton of damage to enemies caught in the blast. There are also multiple types of grenades so players have something for every situation. This perk makes grenades even better by adding an additional twenty damage to them that is non-elemental.

This perk is great to grab for players who love using grenades. It can also be made a little better by adding the Grenadier perk which lets players see the blast radius of their grenades.
2 Bigger Booms
Speaking of grenades and dealing more damage, the Bigger Booms perk is an essential perk to grab for anyone who loves using grenades. Any player can be the grenadier they were born to be.
This perk helps with that by increasing grenade damage by an additional five percent. If that isn’t enough, players can buy this perk up to five times. When it’s maxed out, players will be dealing 25% more damage with their grenades.
1 Bladerunner
It’s no secret that players will be killing mostly organic enemies. But when V does have to take out a turret or an elite mech, these are more dangerous. Since many of these devices lack headshots, decommissioning them poses additional challenges.
For two perk points, players get a flat 40% damage increase to all inorganic units. There are not going to be many perk points more respectful of the investment. Players should have certain consumables on them just to survive, but they won’t need to heal as often if they’re taking machines out before they can do much harm.
Cyberpunk 2077 was released on December 10th, 2020, and is available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PC.
