Plimbo the sailor is the NPC that resides in this secretive little cove, and although it seems as if he’s alone, there are a few other small and secretive residents in this quiet sanctuary that the Lamb can encounter.
How To Find Smuggler’s Sanctuary
The Lamb will first meet Plimbo during a random encounter in the dungeon of Anchordeep. He’ll tell the Lamb that he has some unique and rare items available for trade and resale, and he’ll mark the place on the map so the Lamb can visit after they emerge from their Crusade.
RELATED: Cult Of The Lamb: What To Do At Midas’s CaveAnchordeep is usually the third Crusade on which the Lamb embarks, and it’s mostly about spending gold in either coin or bar form. This isn’t a place to find raw materials, even to buy, but the Lamb can collect Divine Inspiration from Plimbo’s small shrine after everything else is sold out.
Shopping In The Sanctuary
There aren’t any resources to be found in the Sanctuary, like seeds or wood, unlike other locations. By this time the Lamb should have a decent-sized cult and a fair amount of money to spend.
Stone Kiosk. Every location in Cult of the Lamb has one of these where new follower forms can be purchased. Which ones are available depends on what stage the Lamb has reached in their Crusades. Tarot Cards. There’s also a booth with Tarot Cards. If the Lamb finds certain ones in the dungeon after seeing them here, the selection at the booth changes until they are Sold Out. Blueprint Vending Booth. Plimbo also sells blueprints for new decorations and buildings for the cult compound. These are purely cosmetic decorations but they can still improve the Faith, Devotion, and general happiness of cultists.

A Guide To Smuggler’s Sanctuary
Don’t be deceived by how lonely this place looks. There’s more here than just Plimbo and his pirate ship fish. Many creatures, great, small, good, and evil, are lurking in the dark shadows of the Sanctuary. The Lamb has to visit at certain times of the day to find them all.
Plimbo And The Red Crown
Plimbo isn’t only a vendor selling his wares by the seaside. He also has in his possession a few of the Red Crown pieces, which the Lamb can use to strengthen their power and find new and more useful fleeces to wear for their dungeon crawls.
RELATED: Cult Of The Lamb: How To Find Eye Of Witness (& What To Do With Them)The Eye of the Witness is a rare object that drops from certain powerful bosses that wait at the end of almost every dungeon, and Plimbo will ask the Lamb about these when they meet. The Lamb obtains one every time they dispatch one of these powerful enemies. There are four available to trade from Plimbo, making one complete Crown and giving the Lamb another valuable fleece for Crusading.
The Wolf Quests
These secret quests are only available in the dark of night, and one of the essential steps is available in Smuggler’s Sanctuary. After the sun sets, walk to the end of the dock to the right of the screen and choose the “Peer Into The Darkness” action.
The Wolf will rise from the murky water and ask the Lamb for a sacrifice. What he asks for will depend on how many times the Lamb has already encountered this NPC but it’s always something horrifying and sordid. As long as the Lamb fulfills his wishes, they will be rewarded with four Red Crown pieces and the Wolf follower form.
The Crab Follower Form
It’s not something the player catches with the fishing minigame or finds in Anchordeep. There’s a little crab skittering along the docks at Smuggler’s Sanctuary, and it moves quickly. If the Lamb succeeds in catching it, this unlocks the Crab follower form.

Most players don’t even know this secret form exists until they find it. It’s one of many random secrets in the game that keep things interesting even after all four Bishops have been defeated.
The Snail Shrine
Unlock one of the hidden follower forms by honoring the secret shrine of the adorable snail. The Snail Shrines are simple pillars with snail statues on the top, and there’s one in all five locations. Collect five bits of shell during the Crusades so the Lamb can offer them to the statues in every region, including the one in Smuggler’s Sanctuary.
The statue is on the bottom left of the screen in Smuggler’s Sanctuary. The glowing red eyes make them more distinctive than simple decorations. When the Lamb has the shells in their inventory, the option will be open to interacting with the shrine. The end reward is unlocking the Snail follower form.
