The Cubs organization has agreed to pay to repair $388,000 worth of damages to the park, the Chicago Tribune reported.

A huge celebration rally was held in the park after the Cubs came back from a 3-1 deficit to defeat the Indians in the World Series last month, and huge chunks of damaged or missing grass were reported after the rally.
Chicago Park District spokeswoman Jessica Maxey-Faulkner told the Tribune that the Cubs will pay for grading, aeration, additional topsoil and sand for the damaged areas along with repairs to fencing.

The landscaping work already has begun and is expected to be finished within the next few weeks.
